Man’s best friend, the dog. And its no wonder , dogs are loyal, wonderful company, and can be  hard working creatures when required. Over time they have been trained to be loyal domestic pets, and guard that protect us. They have been trained to hunt, to work, to herd sheep, to work in crime as sniffer dogs,  they have been used in battle, in  the Redcross, and they have been used as guide dogs. Their versatility and usefulness  in life is endless.

Most of us however just love our dogs, be they bright and intelligent , beautiful and useful, or just plain old average dogs, we love them because they love us unconditionally!

Hope you enjoy these vintage images of dogs. Not all are from my collection of old post cards.
